Reviews Summary
Majority of users do not like the MyUPMC app, primarily due to persistent system errors, slow performance, inability to access important medical information, and frequent bugs after recent updates.
absolute garbage! beyond frustrated. does basics. nice to do my telehealth appointments and SEE my documentation. Key word SEE...cause thats ALL you can do with them. I've been trying to get an accommodation approved for my work which requires certain documentation. theres zero way to pull anything from this app. I've tried downloading, printing and emailing all of which gives error messages. i shouldnt have to go in person to get these documents. even tried screenshot but cant zoom in enough.

I have been having the System error message come up Everytime I try to log in. So upsetting when it's very important to be able to get important medical information ! I can't refresh, relog on, or anything without getting System Error ...It's been happening for several months, but recently all the time. This needs fixed immediately. I already tried to contact Support Services 2 different times....No help at all !!!

I don't know what's going on, but it's been a couple of months the app is not working properly, always there's a system error when you try to open an appointment or check past appointments, after several tries you can check them but now when you try just to open an appointment it shows a connection problem. This is annoying!!!

The app is NOT working. When I tap any of the buttons below, it will say system error, there was a problem connecting to the feature u requested. Please try again later (it does this everything and will eventually work, it's very frustrating). Or it will say Unable to view (messages, health issues, etc.. what ever is clicked.) U r unable to view --- for undefined. Switch to another patient or page. This is with EVERYTHING in the app, NO matter what is touched. I'll just use website, until fixed

I've had this app for YEARS now. It used to work almost flawlessly. Now? Not so much. I get double notifications for messages, test results, appointment reminders. And now every single time I try to read a message, a test result or to just double check appointment times, I can't. It keeps saying Unavailable. Whatever update was done in August 2024 created more bugs than it helped. This seriously needs fixed ASAP.

The app is mostly useful, though in many cases a web browser works just as well - better for virtual appointments. My issue is the annoying pop up every time I log in. Enable quick login? NO. There should be a "do not ask me again" option. I do not want quick login. Most devices have their own app PW keepers so we don't need your quick login. Stop trying to force it on us.

I removed this app after the last update. When I could not even access the app or reset anything. The lag was beyond bad. Then I found out that even if I had finally gotten back in, I would not have been able to continue to use a pin to access as I had. I don't want 6 miles of passwords or thumbprint or trying to get my phone to draw the correct boxes. I want to plug in 4 quick numbers and be in to my app on my phone.

Hi Rebecca, we apologize for the negative experience. To quickly log in, please enable quick login by visiting your MyUPMC Account Settings and making sure your phone's biometrics and security options are turned on or type in your username and password manually. Please note, biometric options vary between device. For help, call 1-866-884-8579.
I'm having some issues with the app. First, the new security update forces me to re-enable quick login (using my phone as a passkey) EVERY TIME I open the app! I can understand having to re-enable it the first time, but not every time! Second, when trying to pay online, it won't take me where I need to go. I've tried for a week to pay online, and only get an error message that the site can't be reached. Please fix these bugs.

It is the absolute worst app ever. It's constantly notifying you of "unread messages" that you have read 20 times to try to get it stop notifying you. It emails you out of nowhere at midnight that "you have test results in" when you haven't been to a doctor or taken a test in over 3 months. You go to look for new messages or test results that aren't there but the screen clearly says you have these things to look at in notifications. It's an app thats getting deleted that's for sure.

Latest updates have rendered the app useless. Can't check appointments, messages or results. Shows an error that I don't have a browser, suggests chrome, which I already have installed. 🤷♂️ Not too long ago I could view all test results, view appointments and messages in the app. Now the app sends me to a results web page that is limited. Was able to open these things in app before, now you can't. I'm guessing they have a product owner that doesn't know what patients need or want.
