Impulse - Brain Training Games

For the first few weeks I was excited to see what this app had to offer (I got a year subscription). However after over a month of daily playing I've realized it's pretty meh. I'm hitting levels in the daily brain training that make it almost impossible to improve due to the difficulty and time limit and there are ZERO analytics on any improvements or areas of strength/weakness/etc. Less of a brain trainer and more of a time waster at a certain point.

It has been great to do some brain games so far. It is really nice to have just a small amount to do every day. and do more when I want to. I did end up getting a new phone during my first month and had to start over with my progress but thats ok.I was worried I would have to pay for the app again because the way it opens seems like you're either signing up again or have to sign in which I didn't have a sign in for. but after going through the questionare, it went straight to the games again.

Improves more than I expected! The personality and IQ tests were eye opening. The challenges, though simple as they appear, truly challenge the elements of my brain that were in need of a good workout. The percentage grading system could use an update, as missing one answer downgrades me to the zero percentile. 🤔🤔 Beyond this, the game is awesome for mental acuity... I'm hooked, and you will be also.

I might have found a use for this app but after the initial questionnaire that I provided the answer that I would like to improve memory functions, the very next screen asked me to enroll in a subscription with a free trial before I could continue. I found the probability of 3 days being enough to make any noticeable improvements unlikely, while I would probably forget to cancel the subscription if I was bored with the interactions on the app an almost forgone conclusion.

It's a good app and I enjoy the training! However it's kinda annoying that after paying 50$ for the app that I'm still seeing ads AND if I want the ads gone that's additional. I already spent the money, but this is a warning for others! The app does offer very good brain training games, I haven't been using it long, but hopefully there will be improvement!

COMPLETE GARBAGE - DO NOT DOWNLOAD - The "FREE" trial looks like it works and will let you take long tests but fails to show your results and details of it. Whenever you try to see the test results it takes you to a YEARLY PURCHASE PAGE !!! WOW!!!!!!!! The "FREE TRIAL" IS A SCAM. I WASTED A LOT OF TIME TAKING TESTS. NEVER could see the results. I rebooted and did all the things. It would just spin and spin unless you upgraded to the yearly plan. I have MANY screenshots of their BS.WHAT A WASTE

I really enjoy the variety of puzzles and games, just sick of getting an ad every time I even click on a game. I can understand having an ad play after my dailies, but having it before even starting one? And every time I open the app? Too frustrating when there are better free resources out there.

this is my second day playing it. you have the option of doing the training for only your suggested time or you can also do extra games and puzzles too! and the different games and puzzles are super fun and get more difficult as you go. they also have a pretty good variety... I also like the tests that they have that tell you more about yourself. although, I've only done one of those so far. I started with the free trial but even on the first day while playing it, I decided was worth purchasing

Various games/exercises were interesting, some fun, but TRY TO FIND 'DO NOT AUTO RENEW' as an option in Google Play Store. It could be made much easier to protect against renewal of an app you no longer want. I'm not even sure that I was able to disable auto renew. There's no confirmation that it has been accomplished.

I played 1 game and was offered a "discount" to make the app ad free right away for about $30/year. I chose not to take it and then I played a few levels in 3 different games. The 3rd game was a sorting game. Impulse wanted to keep me playing this game. It set challenges of "beating my peers" but once I hit the challenge it added another with the same game. There were ads after every 2 games and I got tired of it. I didn't get a chance to see if I liked impulse because the ads are so frequent.
