BetterSleep: Sleep tracker

I have slept horribly for years. Waking up 10, 20 times a night feeling exhausted the next morning. I knew sound machines helped me drown out the little noises that would wake me, so I'd been using the free "Alexa, play rain noises" option for a while, which is on an hour loop that fades in and out. It was okay. But THIS app is better in every way. It never fades out, I can customize and fine tune the sounds I want to hear. I've been sleeping so much better since I started. Worth every penny.

Have had this app for years - but it doesn't even resemble the old app. Not sure why they've needed to change it SO MUCH but I can never seem to find my saved sounds easily. 2 stars because the sounds frequently just... stop playing. I think the app completely closed because I have to go in and navigate to my sounds again to restart. If I have anything else open - it stops. (Has stopped twice since I've had App Store open to write this)

This app has been a great value. At first I just got it for sleep sounds like falling rain, ocean waves or crackling fire. There are so many to choose from and you can make any combination of them you'd like. I didn't think I'd like the sleep stories or guided meditations but I find some of the narrator's to have extremely calming and soothing voices. I'm not sure how accurate the sleep tracking analysis is, but it's a thought provoking feature. Overall I definitely recommend better sleep.

Edit, Best app for sleep unfortunately you need 140$ a year to have full access to This app, Almost everything is locked. could just as easily get YouTube premium, Disney, Netflix, hulu, PS or Xbox yearly. They have more to offer and some cost less. However it says if you sign up now 40$ a year .limited time I'd assume. 40 is reasonable.

I use this app nearly every night. I wish there were more music options, I also wish new sounds got added more often. I also frequently have an issue with the audio recording for sleep tracking just stops in the middle of the night sometimes. So I'll wake up and have nothing recorded.

The sounds can be very soothing. I notice, ever so slightly, that the sound bounces back and forth between right and left ears. I like rain or stream sounds too, because they drown out my husband's snoring. I use a sleep mask with Bluetooth, thin speakers over each ear. I love my mask with this app!

The sleep sounds are good, but you can get that from anywhere. The sleep cycles are not accurate. It's ok for just listening to your scores. It doesn't even give the count, so you have to go to the APP and count the lines yourself, which is really odd for an application not being able to add lines! They had that feature for a little while, but they took it off, saying it was just a pilot! Basically, they removed the only thing that was useful!

A glitchy mess that wants your $ and data than anything else. The log-in bonuses don't appear on the new UI, it goes back to the old UI sometimes, the alarm sometimes sets itself if you just use the smart alarm once, and if you want to use the smart alarm, you're forced to have the app record audio and then delete those recordings later. The fact that it went from a paid app to a subscription based app littered with self adverts is the icing on the cake, but what app hasn't these days?

This app is PERFECT. I mean just that. You can select individual sounds, everything from river sounds, to birds singing, to tibetan bowls. Then you can add them together and adjust the level for each sound. I am EXTREMELY sensitive to vibrations and this app has an endless supply of what I need for a better night's sleep. I can even imitate an oscillating fan without the fan! Ha!

It's ok but I remember when this was relaxmelodies and was completely free with a lot more free sound choices and then u change it to this and take over half of the free sounds and want a subscription.? Greedy much? And u add all this new extra stuff that can't be used without a subscription either? And for some reason after using a setup after so long the list I made locks up and I have to make another sound list. Only reason I have it is i can play the sounds together and I like customizing
