Flo Period & Pregnancy Tracker

I used to love it. It helped me track my moods and how it related to my period and I could find out information about everything without a membership. Now you get zero info without a $membership. Edit--most of the time you'll spend on the app is trying to get out of pop ups for premium features, or to try to get you to sign up for premium. If my info was transferable to a different app I'd leave. I hate opening this app

Some of the couples quizzes and information are kinda nice but as a period tracker couple sharing app it's terrible. She puts all her information in in detail and I get practically none of that information on my side even though that was our intention. There is no setting to change it either, it's locked away. I would understand if it was a privacy thing for some couples but it should be an option in her settings not locked away for everyone.

I used to use this app constantly, but it's become more and more pushy about getting premium. It's obnoxious. 2025 Edit: I can acknowledge that the symptom tracker is good, so added one more star. I had to come back to this app bc the competition is even worse. But the constant annoying popups are still there and I hate them. I will never be getting premium solely bc of this marketing. Now that I can afford it, if Flo was like it USED to be, I'd have a subscription. But at this point, NO.

Nowadays bombards me with guilt trippy advertisements to subscribe for additional features. You tap no and it's like "Are you sureeee? 🥺", no is no. I just want to open the app, check the calendar, close the app. Not waste an extra minute playing "Chase the Close Buttons". It always costs less than the original price advertised which is very deceptive marketing. I never wanna read an article if I have to subscribe for it. Woman's health should be accessible not locked behind a pay wall.

Not a good app. I'm overwhelmed with notifications, nearly all of them unrelated to my purpose of the app which was to track my cycle. So I'm forced to enter the app to check instead, which instantly swarms me with aggressive marketing to switch to the subscription service. No, I say again and again, I don't want the educational material, I just want to track my dang cycle. The app is a pain and frustrating to use. I'm better off using something else.

I can't even talk with the chat bot without them mentioning premium every single time. Also, there are so many pop-ups about premium. When I first downloaded this a few years back, I never had this problem. They have nothing but the calendar for free users. Every video and insight needs premium. I shouldn't have to pay to understand my body better.

Flo is definitely the best period tracking app I've ever downloaded. it is so realistic, it has sex ed, masturbation ed, talks about teen life, adult life, struggles, routines, feminine hygiene, literally anything you can think of. it is very easy to navigate and log in information based on period symptoms/cycle, pregnancy, infertility, etc and it literally gives you the best advice and tips. love this app!

I loved this app, it was accurate and it allowed me to track my periods as well as my ovulation dates AND allowed me to monitor any abnormalities and as someone who has always had very irregular periods it was great. However now they want me to pay for all the things that made it great and I can no longer monitor for any issues like I used to without paying?! As women we are already nickel and dimed for items like pads and I might as well just go back to using a calendar if all I get is tracking

Very useful for recording symptoms from physical to emotional, but I can't in good conscience rate this app very high. When you record certain symptoms, the app will prompt a coded chat to assist, which is a good thing. The bad thing, however, is that many, many things are locked behind a premium plan, which is not clarified until you hit that point. It's really disheartening when the chats suggest an empathetic tone, then slip right into that "try premium free!" spiel.

Bloated with repetitive and less than useful "insights" even on premium version. Chats seem to be full of bots making it tough to find relevant information. Not enough flexibility to deal with big changes to the cycle like PCOS. Basic tracking is algorithm based so works mostly ok if your body is consistent.
