Review Summary
People generally love the Home Workout - No Equipment app for its customizable workout plans, helpful instructional videos, user-friendly interface, and minimal ads, although some users have noted the presence of counterintuitive exercises and issues with ads.
Only been using it for a few weeks, but I already opted for the membership. It's been a huge help keeping me on schedule, and I love that I can download/add workouts to fit my needs. Also, if there's an exercise you're not familiar with, it provides video and instructions to help you. It's like having a virtual personal trainer, which is exactly what I was looking for. If something in the scheduled workout is too difficult (or easy) you can swap it out. Fully customizable. 5 stars!
1) No annoying guilt trip notification reminders unless I say so. I workout when I please (3x this week, go me!) 2) The bodyweight workout plans are surprisingly satisfying, enough to make me feel a bit sore after a day or two without making work too much of a chore. The difficulty is adjustable to the user's ability level, and each workout ends with asking whether it felt too hard, too easy, or just right to further tailor the workouts to the user. 3) The stretches are phenomenal. Don't skip!
It's awesome, simple, but complete, timers, videos showing proper technique, adaptable to your level, very little ads. I like it a lot Months later, still like it a lot I've been using on and off with some consistent burst for over a year now. Using much more now cause just feel so much stronger and better. I am starting to look forward to it because the app works very well. It instructs animates, narrates, and encourages.
It's a really convenient way to get workout done at home with specific plans. Getting results would be based on the consistency and dedication of the individual rather than the app itself. Although i will say, as good as the workouts are, there are certain workouts that are kind of counter intuitive to each other within the same routine. Regardless it is a good app for exercise

Hi, sorry to hear your frustration. Could you maybe describe more about the counterintuitive exercise? Please contact us via Settings-->Feedback in the app. We will be able to look into it and improve this soon if you could send us more details. Looking forward to your reply.
I have been using this app for over a year and I really like it. I use the free version but it costs next to nothing to get all the other plans. Especially if you get the new comer low price. I love that you can customize your workouts totally free. I have been able to change the exercises and reps to fit my level and liking. It's a really good app and wether you've been working out for a long time or are just starting this app is perfect for you. I also like the fact that they added dumbbells.
This app is extremely well made, allowing you to make adjustments, which other apps won't. It may ask a lot of questions but afterwards it helps make a plan that you can actually stick giving the date of reaching your goal, giving to tips, having animations on how to do the exercises and so much more that you have to experience it yourslef.
The ONLY body-weight exercise app I'll ever use. Went straight to level 3 after doing P90 for a bit, 4 months of serious work and I was ripped. Got to 224lbs just from body weight. Definitely recommend! Great for beginners and those more advanced, probably not the best fit for fitness fanatics though (doesn't provide many advanced options) Edit: Didn't think they could make it better, but they did. Major cool points for the new paid update and still keeping it free to use for us poor folks ππ
I do not expect miracles The app targets arms, chest and abs. No leg day so far. The good side, the app gets me to be active most days for an extra 20 minutes or so. The motivation still has to come from the user. Decent exercises without any equipment other than a mat and a chair or bench. 3 day cycle, day one is rather push up intensive. It will help my fitness level during the winter days, but I am not expecting miracles

Hi. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are currently reviewing our workout plans to ensure they offer variety and focus on balanced development across all muscle groups. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve and we have communicated it to our development team.
Good so far but setting need work. I bought the free trial with the yearly subscription and as soon as I filled out my workout information, but before I could start the custom workout, I had to close the app. Now, opening it back up I cannot find the custom workout it said it had not can I find a way to contact the developer directly for support. The workout are easy enough for beginners but the UI needs a lot of help.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We take it seriously and are working on enhancing the app's ability to generate personalized plans seamlessly. Your insights will help us make these improvements faster. Maybe you can try the 7x4 full-body plan and other workouts provided in the app. Hope you succeed on your fitness journey.
This app isn't bad, to be honest. However, I sometimes feel like the challenges come at me too quickly perhaps I'm just overly critical. Additionally, at the start of the app, they ask about my preferences, but I often end up with exercises I don't want. I'm uncertain if I need to purchase a premium version or something similar to improve this experience. Best Wishes!!! (β γ»β ββ γ»β )
