[update] while my issues may be provider related, there is no getting around this is a horrible app. The fact that you cannot roll back to an older version once installed is ridiculous. I have been installing and uninstalling apps on my home computer for decades. But my amazing smartphone I can't install an older version of an app? You developers need to go back to school and learn how to make applications. MYCHART is a great app my prev Doc used. All you need to do is emulate them! Timewaster

This app has not worked in over a month. All I get is a message saying "we're having trouble loading this page". No matter my signal strength. You'd think a big corporation could create an app that worked better. Uninstalling and reinstalling does nothing to solve the issue. Trying to access the portal through Google Chrome gives the same exact error.

Worst app. Errors out at login all the time. Have to delete to reset it to work. Massive negative impact to individual healthcare. Would give negative stars if I could. At random? Whenever an update is made to the app? On a Tuesday when it rains? Any time it wants. And if I have to delete and reinstall the app any time this happens, what's the point of notifications? I shouldn't have to delete the app every time something gets updated!

The idea is good, but the web app is much better than the mobile app. On the mobile app, when I click on a test result and try to go back to the list of results, it takes me all the way up instead of where I left off. Please fix this using navigation components. Additionally, test results for all household members are mixed together. We should be able to choose which member's results we want to see.

First time using it was fine. However, when I tried to open it back up it froze, leading to me uninstalling then reinstalling it worked fine then, but I received 2 messages that never came through as notifications. I happened to be checking my email and saw that I had messages. What's the point in having an app that doesn't work compared to the web that does?

New update made this app useless. The new update has made it to where I can't log in to the app at all. Browser works fine but when I try to log in on the app i get an error message saying "something went wrong". My passwords are correct so I'm assuming this is a newly updated app issue which is unfortunate since I used the app regularly to keep track of appts for multiple family members all on one screen. I've also uninstalled and installed the app about 10 times. It's still not working.

This app needs a lot of improvement. It's not as convenient as the others from Henry Ford or Beaumont hospitals etc. Their app is way better. You can messages, look a prescribed medication, note your visits as well, and set up different appointments for other doctors, records and so much more. I love ❤️ there's. I'm not sure who developed this app because it seems rushed to have something that isn't convenient at all.

This is the best patient portal app. Each doctor's office seems to use a different one. tI have two doctors consolidated in this app. It makes it easier to keep track of which app to use. Also, other apps lack one or more feature. In this one, I can request an appointment, receive and reply to messages from the doctor and staff. It doesn't freeze up like some apps. I wish all doctor's offices used this patient portal!
Doesn't work & no tech support. I already have an account with Athena through my physician. I downloaded the app, opened to screen to login page, clicked, opened a second login screen where it asked for my credentials. Entered those & received "something went wrong. It looks like there was a hiccup on our end and we're unable to log you in. Please try again in a few moments". Of course it doesn't matter how long I wait, I receive the same error endlessly.

You will need to complete the full registration for your Patient Portal account from a desktop computer, including registration and verification, in order to access the athenaPatient app. Once you complete that step, you should be able to login without looping and getting the error message. - athenaPatient Team
Navigation is bad and clunky. Just logging in is a nightmare (Ultimately had to log in twice, will not take auto-pop info, then had to "sign out" to sign in. "Inbox" resets and does not save view or that you opened mail. No higher functions for appointments (can't search other providers). Make an actual app, not a splint for the website.
