Review Summary
Most people do not like the APPatient app due to numerous issues, including constant bugs, complicated and non-intuitive user interface, and severe problems with account setup, password reset, and login processes, rendering it largely unusable for many users.
Very user friendly, however, there is no way to download your medical records. When you hit 'download my redords,' the app briefly states: "the permission is necessary to use the save to device feature" and then it disappears. It makes absolutely zero sense and there's no way to figure out what I need to do next because it's just a blank page with the loading sign circulating.

Worst app I've ever used. If my screen goes dark after 30 seconds to save battery, it loses where it's at. I had to minimize it to look up some information to enter into it. It was minimized for less than a minute and when I returned, it had totally kicked me out of the system. I had to log back in and start all over. This app is full of bugs.

Completely non-intuitive application. Takes you in the loop over and over and over again when you have forgotten your password. Doesn't provide error messages that are helpful. Have to figure out what is wrong with your login when the URL is perfect. Finally figured out it didn't want me to put the https part in even though the email says to provide it. Horrible horrible horrible. Annoying and will never fly. Patients don't have the time. This application is so buggy it's ridiculous!

The interface is terrible. It's more than frustrating when more than 1 provider uses the app. I have to find an email, copy the provider url, paste into the app, then type in the password for that provider. To switch providers, I have to repeat the entire process. MyChart, even with its faults, lets me switch providers on the fly.

The most unusable app on my phone. This app is so poorly designed that it is far and away the least unusable app on my phone. It does not account for the android methodology for signing in with multiple accounts (made necessary by not allowing family members access to each other's accounts). Data entry is beyond tedious. For example, entering the date one quit smoking requires scrolling back monthly -- to as far back as decadeshh while the function for DOB allows direct date entry.

My doctor sent me a link to use this for upcoming appointments but super confusing UI and UX doesn't allow for easy password set up. I'm not understanding what the instructions are having me do because it keeps leading me back to the same login page over and over again when it try to reset my password. Not worth the time just to confirm appointment times.

This app is deplorable, I received a text with links to install and then login and complete check-in. The links were duplicates, so it just went back to the install prompt. Called and got a link sent to my email, used the Access Portal button and got a prompt to log in. Again, never prompted to create an account, so no way to log in.Total waste of time.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Check to see if you received an email from your provider welcoming you to your ‘Patient Portal’. If not, please ask your provider to resend, as it has directions to activate your portal account - which should be activated from a desktop computer or laptop before downloading the app to your mobile device.
Zero functionality, constant looping, offers password reset and won't let you go there. Reinstalled, same issues, repeat. I'm done. Already replied to my next appointment's text reminder. Forget the pre-check-in. Doing paperwork at the office on the day will take less time than attempting to use this app. Other medical apps take seconds to get to and just a few minutes to use. This app has been a waste of time and is now permanently uninstalled. Not falling for this nonsense again.

This app has to be one of the worst user experiences I have had in terms of accessibility and display. You can only move past the first pop-up after login if your phone is set to a very specific display setting, anything larger will prevent you from tapping the okay button. I found myself jumping between my display settings and the app multiple times to make small adjustments to get the thing to work. Please fix this atrocity for your low vision users.

this app worked, but now it has locked me out of my own account for no reason, and I can't get in, and there's no technical support number to call and my physician office has no clue as to why this happened. i will uninstall and re-install it and see what happens ... if it works, I'll add more stars, but for now, this app sucks and is a waste of time and internal space on my phone! UPDATE: IT'S STILL HORRIBLE!! WILL NOT GIVE ANYMORE ENERGY TO THIS APP! 😤 UNINSTALLED FOREVER! STILL SUCKS (2025)
