Three stars for the information being there. Minus 3 stars (let's just say I rounded) for an absolutely broken user experience when trying to pay a bill. Even after logging in, the app couldn't show me a bill without a 15? Digit bill number. So I chose the option that I didn't have it. Then it required my birthdate, zip code, and either (an email address or phone number - either of which had to be on file with them) - so that they could send a verification code, which was never sent to either.
The app stopped working. When I open it, I get a message There are no locations within 50 miles. Then when I try to set an appt, I get Internal Server error and a pop-up stating the appt time I selected is no longer available. When I go to Quest online, it sets me right up.
DON'T BOTHER Can't even make an appt they app, even after "force stop". Can't pay bill thru app, and they make it essentially impossible to contact them thru the app with a complicated form with many mandatory fields. They force their nonsense "services" into your window, rather than allowing you to do what you need to do. Expected from a "who cares" corporation.
The rate me button went away, but none of the lower buttons work, for instance, MyQuest button. It still freezes and shuts down. Useless. App doesn't work. It freezes, and none of the buttons work. Often, a box shows up asking me to rate it, and the app freezes. I can't rate it, I can't cancel it, I can't get it to go away rendering the app useless.
Biometric login straight up doesn't work and each time I close the app I'm logged out, so each time I want to view something, if I move between two apps, I have to type my username and password back in, open whatever I was doing again, then go back to the other app, and do it all over again when I go back. At least my test results are easy to view.
Now you can let the Quest app frustrate you just as quickly as the Quest website does! No, Quest, you don't need me to share my location - stop asking. No, Quest, I'm not connected to Wi-Fi - but you can still work with the connection from my data plan. You don't just need to give up and stop trying, I promise.
I managed to get the app and my account working again by creating a new account, which seemed a bit strange I needed to do that. I'm disappointed with support, I attempted to contact them a couple of times and only got automated replies. The app is useful and makes it easy to have all your lab results in one place and be able to make appointments from the app.
The new design makes it hard to check multiple locations at the same time. The old way I could easily check all the locations at the same time to see who had the best time for me. Now it takes 5 times longer for me. Also, I don't have a computer/laptop or tablet and this new layout is very hard to view on a cell phone. The app just loads the website, so why take of space on your cell when you can just save the website. There is nothing different between the two.
Treatment by the Lab technician was superb. He was professional, personable, and informative. Dealing with the redundancies of the Quest app and website is infuriating. Trying to access my lab results is an exercise in dealing with circular pathways. This must be the "improved" version of the app. PLEASE give me something that works as well as it did six months ago!
I appreciate being able to schedule appointments on the mobile app. It was better when I could also check in from the app, but this stopped working well then stopped working altogether. I'd like it if the bugs could be fixed & this feature returned, but I find the check in kiosk usually works well. The kiosk would be better with a shelf to rest my purse. It is awkward to balance my ourse, find and manipulate cards, etcetera.
