Review Summary
Overall, people do not seem to like the myAir™ by ResMed app, with frequent complaints about connectivity issues, inaccurate or incomplete data, poor user interface, and unresponsive customer support.
Information is meaningless. You can get a low number and it'll still tell you you got a great score for whatever reason. Also mask on time does not equate being able to actually sleep. I've gotten 100% while getting no rem sleep. Great the app detects the mask on your face. You know what else does that? Physically feeling it on your face. Useless app.

Installed app 01/21/2025. when I finish entering personal data and agreeing to terms of use, the app tells me it has experienced an error and is shutting down. No cache or data clears or reloads make a difference. App isn't smart enough to tell me why it has an error. UPDATE: I found that the app doesn't like my Yahoo email address. Gmail fixed that issue, but now I can't get it to take the serial or model number. I stand by my original review. Not ready for prime time app.

As a first step, long-press the myAir app icon. Then, select "app info", then "Storage", and finally tap the “Clear Cache” and “Clear Data” buttons. Once that's done, reboot your phone and then try opening the app once more.
The app seems to want to give me information about my CPAP usage, etc., but it does it in the most awkward way possible. It gives clear numbers on stats, but there's no information on what each stat means. Mask Seal and Mask Off mean nothing without context. Is it good? Bad? I don't know, and I don't know what to adjust to change the report. Kinda useless, as an app. The machine is great.

Your device uses an algorithm to detect airflow leaks. If the leak exceeds a threshold, it assumes the mask is off. These events affect your myAir score, with fewer mask on/off events earning higher points. View your score in the History tab by selecting the mask icon. Points: 0-2 events = 5, 3 = 4, 4 = 3, 5 = 1, 6+ = 0.
It's okay for what it tries to do. If you have real difficulties, it's too generic to help. I'm really surprised that it doesn't allow rotation when viewing the information. Especially on the history that's a big problem. Rotation should be part of virtually any app. Even if there's no obvious need, when dialog boxes go wonky, and they do, being able to rotate is often a way to make visible what you need to or get out of difficulties
App constantly errors after a few days of working and will say "cannot reach server" and won't load my data. The app has to be reinstalled or cache fully cleared and then log back in. It's been doing this for months now. It seems related to using fingerprint sign in, maybe that auth expires or something. Other than that, it's pretty great.

I was able to create an account by lying pretending I never had a sleep study. I have paired Bluetooth with my AirCurve 11 once, but I cannot get data from the machine. Reinstalled app. I have already registered my machine but Resmed has forgotten me and will not give me access because my serial number is in use. I registered it November 2024. The AirCurve 11 works, and I have used it for 2 months. But I cannot get a report. MyAir is useless. "Cant connect". Good Bipap. Terrible app.

Nice when it works. I've had it for less than a month. Twice now it has gotten my nightly usage very wrong. For example, last night I actually wore my mask for 9 hours! However, my app says I wore it for 1 second. The machine itself shows the correct information, but the app won't update no matter what I try. Very frustrating. It's not helpful if it's not accurate.

When you pause your therapy, it's recorded as separate sessions & uploaded separately. If the connection is slow or interrupted, one session may appear in myAir before the other(s), so you may see only partial data until the upload is complete. You get one thing with this app -- a report on how you did during the night. All the rest is 'help' tutorials. Which leaves the big question: Why can't you use the app to adjust the Airsense 11 many settings? Duh? Adjusting the settings on the device on the bedside table using the tiny touch panel is both physically difficult and extremely annoying. If you have one, you know what I mean. ResMed seems clueless about this issue.
ZERO SYNC WITH HEALTH CONNECT APP (h.c. app 100% doesn't work!). No sleep stages. No data. Google Health connect "app" doesn't work so please offer something else as alternative. Reviews on health connect app confirm this! Both have access to wifi & bluetooth running in background but HC doesn't sync: no settings in it to do so! Going to delete health connect and hope you come up with your OWN readings in your OWN app, instead of allowing a 3rd party access to what doesn't work anyway!!!

Sleep Stage data will only populate if it is present in your Google Health app if Health Connect integration is enabled in your myAir app’s settings via Profile > Settings > Permissions > "Allow Health Connect Integration" if you continue to have issues, you can reach our support team directly via [email protected]
Even though I am entering correct serial numbers of my machine I keep getting messages that tell me they are incorrect. They are accurate. It seems as if this app is not functioning properly. As a consequence I cannot register and use this app. Not s good look for an app that is to be a help to apnea patients!
