Users generally dislike the Teladoc app due to numerous technical issues such as constant crashes, difficulties logging in and maintaining login credentials, communication problems, unreliable features, and poor customer service, although the medical services provided by professionals are praised.
Had teledoc before but now I have different insurance so new account. I was finally able to login to the website and start interacting, then everything went wrong. Nothing loaded, error after error...I decided to try the app, so I just installed it and it appears that it's actually worse! Not sure what happened in the interim between the last time I had teledoc and now but something went terribly wrong. Update 1/12/25 Seems fixed now.

"The app is not great. Seeing a professional is good, & not too challenging to set-up, but the app has a LOT of quirks." -- This is the start of a previous review I left and the app tech responded as seen below, sharing an email address that I should contact. I did, and it was sent back as undeliverable. So, sadly no actual help. The service with medical professionals good. The app has issues & no support.

Speaking with the doctor was fine, but if there's any sort of problem it's almost impossible to get someone on the phone at any of the numbers provided, their response to email was to 'call them', and they keep redirecting me to their app, but to functions that don't seem to exist in the app. There is no 'problem with my prescription' option anywhere in the message center, nor a way to actually message Teledoc at all as far as I can find.

It's pretty awful. It freezes a lot, it won't remember my phone no matter how many times I put in the pin number, there's no access to many of the features outlined in the FAQ (might be an insurance thing), and the few times I have been able to get anywhere in the app, it crashes. For what people pay for insurance, this is really unacceptable. UPDATE: Now I can't get it to load at all. It's completely USELESS! I'm paying $500 per month for this??? Also, your website is just as awful.

Having a virtual appointment is an incredibly convenient option, however, the app itself does not do a good job of communicating the status of your appointment. One key issue is that it displays a notification on your phone saying your session ended. While you might think this is related to missing your appointment with the doctor. It's not. It's related to them logging you out of the app for inactivity.
My psychiatrist wouldn't help me with issues from my previous appointment unless I set up a new meeting with him, which was impossible because the app wouldn't let me. The app is full of bugs. I had to get some lab work done and wasn't provided with information of where to go after I signed up. I tried calling the customer support for help with issues with the app and my prescription and they we not helpful at all.

I am very disappointed in this app. It is buggy. When you try to upload documents it gives you multiple issues. It took me five times to get documents uploaded to a provider. I have had several issues with their support department not following through and correcting issues. During a migration process of my records from lavongo to teladoc that has been a nightmare. It still is not correct. Both your app and their website is one of the worst I have ever used Buggy and difficult to add documents.

This app is disappointing. It's slow, unreliable, constantly logs me out during an active session. Does not log in correctly even when the user name and password are meticulously typed. The website is just as bad. The app and website are slow to the point of being unusable at times.

The app would be great if it functioned properly. Messages load some of the time. Activity plans worked in the past, but don't load at all anymore. Fix your app immediately! My Union Hall pays into your program for it's members to use, and I'm going to tell them to find a different telehealth provider at my next Union meeting. Update in regards to developer response: 1/8/25 app is up to date. Does not function properly. Does not function at all. Unable to do anything. Your app is poor quality.

This app is ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS. The concept would be great, if the app would actually work. But it's buggy in each and every feature I have tried to use. I end up always needing to call to do ANYTHING. Or at the least, close, reopen, refresh, etc... nothing EVER works. It's so frustrating esepcially when you're feeling bad and just trying to get care.
