Review Summary
Users have mixed reviews about Trinity Health MyChart, with some praising its user-friendly interface, easy navigation, and comprehensive features for managing health information, while others express frustration with technical issues, complicated login processes, and poor customer support.
**EDITED TO ADD** since February 18th 2025 despite all my efforts in changing my password and attempting to log in, it is saying it is incorrect yet I'm able to log in with the SAME info on my browser!! This is frustrating! FIX IT!! ***un-installed and reinstalled after deleting ALL data fixed the issue*** The best and user-friendly medical chart I've ever used!
Well this new app has lots of bells and whistles... with lots of problems! To schedule an appointment you have to scroll through over 30 medical options.. with option sets and presets. Many options are very technical. My tests! I can't access them..but I can on the old app. To make an appointment it shows my closest facility is 200 miles away..what! 😩 🤯😵😠🤬
Once you get the hang of it it is very very easy to use and navigate. There is so much you can do including accessing their library to do research or learn about an illness and more. Reschedule appointments with your health care providers leave messages and your doctor's will read them and get back to you. It's overall excellent and a very useful tool
This app is totally frustrating. My Chart cannot remember my name AND password for any length of time. For example, they had lost it yesterday and I had to go through the whole process of resetting it and today they are once again telling me that I am trying an invalid password. I'm not doing anything different. Trinity Health MyChart is not helpful. A phone number would be appreciated so a person could talk with someone instead of being constantly told that "they're using an invalid password"
The app is very user friendly - once you get everything sorted out with the clinics office. Male sure to coordinate all of the dependants information before you on oard yourself into the system, otherwise things (like bills) cabln slip between the cracks. It does allow for different level of information sharing between accounts (which is great if you share medical information with a spouse/SO) and you can even customize the display order of the information on the app's main page.
My chart is an ineffective way to communicate. Mass confusion and long reply times make it impossible to complete anything in a timely stress free manor. I find I have to repeat things multiple times and make twice as many calls to get anything done. I absolutely hate the online method of dealing with people and patients. It took me so long to get my meds it impacted my health, both physically and mentally, poorly. If I didn't have to use it I wouldn't.
For the most part, it's great. Works for what it's intended to do. I love having access to all of our families medical records. I do, however, wish it would save my payment methods into the system like when I check the box that says it will do just that. Every other medical system I use on MyChart seems to be able to save the card(s) but Trinity's does not. Oh well, if they'd save my payment method they'd get paid faster. But it's otherwise a great app to have!!
The latest version of this is very user friendly! Turning on the notifications makes it so you don't have to ever check the app for updates. Never received a notification that wasn't pertinent. Easiest and quickest way to interact with the office staff and for inquiries. I'm late 50s and not a tech person but have no problem with using this.
Works great, but fingerprint biometrics doesn't work for passwordless login for just the app, and I have to use a password. Else I would Give it for five stars. However, on my Android phone, if I go to the Google web browser and login on the web page, passwordless biometric login, works just fine. It's only in the app that they need to do more work to resolve it. Shouldn't everything be just logging with your fingerprint because it's more secure? The password was dead a long time ago, lol
Having all my doctors, appointments, results, etc. in one place really helps and eases many things I tend to forget. Being able to schedule our reschedule in the app is a lot better than getting kicked out of the old online system that didn't cover all your doctors. Easy to use, gives notifications on the important things, but isn't a hassle.
